LoanCeiling republishes the conforming loan limits that apply in each U.S. area, together with the arithmetic that follows from them: the jumbo threshold, the maximum purchase price at a given down payment, and the monthly principal and interest on a loan at the limit.

Where the numbers come from

The limits are taken from the annual county-level limit tables published by the U.S. federal housing regulator for calendar years 2024, 2025, 2026, which are U.S. federal government works in the public domain. This site regroups them by state and by published figure, and derives the payment and purchase-price figures from them.

How pages are organised

Limits are set for metropolitan and micropolitan areas, so counties inside one area share a single figure. 160 counties above the baseline therefore use only 24 distinct figures. We publish one page per figure — naming every county that carries it, with each county's own 2024 and 2025 numbers — rather than one page per county repeating the same figure. A page also covers the baseline itself, a page for each state listing all of its counties, and a calculator covering all 3235 counties.

What we do not do

• We do not set or forecast limits.
• We do not lend, broker or sell leads.
• We do not publish a page for a place merely because a page could exist.

Corrections
